Connect with licensed doctors and nurse practitioners around the world by phone, video, or chat. Clear Care links you to trusted providers across multiple countries, with approved private-pay worldwide options wherever you are.
A trip abroad is the short part. The care around it — the review before you go, the recovery after you return, and the record that holds both — is the part most medical travel leaves unfinished. Clear Care runs all three.
Pre-care
Nurse triage, doctor review, workup, and an approved price — before a flight is booked.
The procedure abroad
Accredited hospital, coordinated travel, one coordinator on the case.
Post-care
Follow-up already booked, recovery reviewed by video and chat at home.
Your medical records
One record across all of it, uploaded to and shared by you.
Two of these four stages are telemedicine, and they happen where you already live. Only one involves a flight.
Pre-care, before you fly
A nurse triages the case and a doctor confirms the plan by video, phone, or chat. Workup is booked at home, the destination hospital quotes an itemized price you approve line by line, and nobody boards a plane on an unreviewed case.
Travel and admission
Treatment match to an accredited hospital, visa packet and invitation letter, hotel near the hospital, airport transfer, interpreter, and a companion room. One coordinator stays on the case from quote to discharge.
The procedure
The destination hospital delivers the care and reports into the same record your home team reads. Costs stay on the quote you approved — a service without a recorded, patient-approved price cannot start.
Post-care, once you are home
Follow-up is booked before you leave, not promised at the airport. Wound checks, medication review, physiotherapy, and nurse escalation continue by video and chat, with the same team that planned the trip.
A destination hospital can only work from what it is sent. Pre-care is where the case gets built — reviewed by a nurse, confirmed by a doctor, priced in writing, and booked around a date you are actually fit to travel on.
Nurse-led case review
A registered nurse triages your intake under defined protocols and escalates to a doctor, who is the final clinical decision-maker on whether travelling is the right call at all.
An itemized price you approve
The hospital publishes a service menu, then sends a final quote. You approve or decline one service at a time. Packages list every component separately, and a range has to say what the final number depends on.
Workup and fitness to fly
Labs and imaging are booked near you and read before departure. Return travel inside the post-surgical window is refused until a nurse or doctor clears it in writing for the date you actually fly.
The trip around the procedure
Visa packet, invitation-letter request, hotel, cars, transfers, interpreter, and companion stay — arranged in the Logistics tab of your account. Consulates issue visas; we prepare the paperwork.
Complications show up after the flight home, when the operating surgeon is a time zone away and the discharge summary is a PDF nobody local can act on. Post-care is scheduled with the referral itself, so recovery has a care team attached to it from the start.
Booked before you travel
The follow-up visit is created with the referral, not left for you to chase after discharge. It is on your calendar while you are still packing.
Recovery by video and chat
Wound photos, symptom check-ins, and questions go to the same nurse who prepared the case. Anything clinical escalates to a doctor through the same case board.
Rehabilitation that continues
Virtual physiotherapy with exercise plans and progress tracking, plus member pricing through ClearCare Gym Pass at participating rehabilitation centres near you.
Your own doctor stays in the loop
Your home clinic can be sent the operative report, medications, and discharge summary in a format their system loads — not a stack of scans emailed as attachments.
Care that crosses borders splits the record across them. Yours does not: you add to it, you decide who reads it, and you can take the whole thing with you.
You put things in it
Upload imaging, prior operative reports, insurance documents, at-home vitals, and progress photos yourself. Nothing has to arrive through a clinic to count.
It is one record, not three
Home consults, the destination hospital, and post-care follow-ups write into the same timeline. There is no separate file abroad that ends when the trip does.
You choose who reads it
Send an HL7 FHIR R4 bundle to any clinic that can load one. Every share is logged with who received it and when, and the log is yours to read.
You can take it away
Export the structured record — history, medications, labs, visits — as a PDF or an HL7 FHIR R4 bundle at any time, and download any file you uploaded from your records page. Including if you stop using Clear Care.
The same three channels carry pre-care and post-care, wherever you are in the world.
Video visit
Face-to-face review with a doctor or nurse practitioner, on the hospital side or your own.
Phone consultation
For places and moments where bandwidth is the constraint, not availability.
Chat consultation
Asynchronous across time zones — send wound photos and questions, get a clinician reply.
Accreditation is verified before a hospital is listed, and outcomes and compliance are scored after. Costs are published so the comparison happens before anyone commits.
India
JCI and NABH accredited hospitals, English-speaking specialists, published procedure costs.
Thailand
Internationally accredited private hospitals with established international patient services.
Mexico
Short-haul option for North American patients, with accreditation verified before listing.
Turkey
High-volume specialist centres across orthopedics, cardiac, and reconstructive care.
UAE
Regional hub facilities for patients travelling within the Middle East and South Asia.
Canada
Home-side telemedicine for pre-care and post-care, with provincial billing where it applies.
The travel around the care
Visa packets and invitation-letter requests, hotels near the hospital, airport transfers, private and wheelchair-accessible cars, interpreters, and companion stay — requested in the Logistics tab of your account and worked by a Clear Care coordinator who replies in the same thread.
Clear Care coordinates referrals, paperwork, and travel agents. Government consulates issue visas. Destination hospitals deliver the procedure.
Pre-care first. Travel only if a clinician says travelling is the right answer for your case.
